|Pulzar FM Kicked off with a World Record for Charity!|
World Record for Charity and Pulzar FM presents the Sleepless4ChildCancer Marathon.
WRFC founder Snap Campbell once again graced the airwaves for far longer than any man should, this time breaking the Guinness World Record for the Longest Radio DJ Marathon (Team). The previous record was 73 hours and Snap smashed it by broadcasting for 75 hours non-stop, all to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation.
Snap wasn't alone this time around as the teams record required a co-host. Georgie Stylianou, health reporter for The Press, joined Snap to smash this record, and what an amazing trooper she was! We love Georgie!!
WRFC will also be hosting a massive victory party on October 27th to help further raise money for The Child Cancer Foundation!
People can still donate money through www.WRFC.org.nz (and please do give to this great cause!).
The official Record attempt kicked off (after an earlier false start) at 10pm on Friday on 105.7 Pulzar FM and ran through to 1am on Tuesday morning.
Congratulations guys... an amazing effort!!
