Here's a sample of some of the shows you can expect to hear across the week on Pulzar FM.
DAILY SHOWS
BREAKFAST ENERGY – 6am-10am Weekdays
Andy Pulzar keeps you company with an upbeat music mix to get your day off to a great start as you jump out of bed and into your commute, no matter where you’re heading!
LUNCH – 10am-2pm Weekdays
Lunch is a volunteer filled timeslot, with either a straight through music mix or one of our fun announcers.
DRIVE HOME with SNAP – 2pm-6.30pm Weekdays
Having survived two Guiness World Record radio record attempts (and earning the World Record for the Longest Marathon For A Radio Music Show DJ - TEAM, the craziness that is Snap Campbell takes over our Drive show on Pulzar FM V3.0. As always, Pulzar FM provide with best in afternoon entertainment, with Snap entertaining you through your afternoon every weekday, and running great features like “I Should Have Been...”, Head to Head, Date A Ginger, YouTube Clip of the Day and more awesome music. Snap will also introduce the first DJ set of the evening with a transition period between the announcer hosted drive show and the sweet beats of our DJ mix shows.

MONDAY EVENING
ORGANIC ROBOT (6-8pm Monday)
The Organic Robot crew have launched a new brand of club night along with a radio show, aiming to quench your thirst for House and Techno. Expect the freshest in the genre from some of Christchurch's best well-known and up-and-coming Djs. The Organic Robot crew is made up of DJs Subminimal, Dr Dee, Malfunktion, Siliconbeat, ShinDig and Josh Tasman, playing tunes ranging from Deep and Lush Deep House to Uplifting and Wacky Minimal Techno.
DJ Invitational (8-10pm Monday)
One of our most popular shows on Pulzar FM Mk 2, the DJ Invitational sees a different DJ invited into the studio each week to lay down 2 hours of their unique mix. We’ll also have a chat and get to know them a little better as well.
ANDY PULZAR presents Synconoptic (10-midnight Monday)
Pulzar FM co-founder Andy Pulzar mixes up 2 hours of electro house and uplifting trance goodness for you.
MYNC presents CR2 Radio Show (12am-2am Monday night)
MYNC presents a weekly international mix show, with the latest tunes, info, interviews and loads of fun stuff. Lock it in for the best of Europe every Monday night from midnight.
TUESDAY EVENING
EARGRAVY with MATTAL (6-8pm Tuesday)
DJ’s LN & Siliconbeat have navigated the world playing sweet deep and tech house, and now they bring their lush vibes to Pulzar FM every Tuesday night.
EUPHONIC SESSIONS (8-10pm Tuesday)
Keeping your Tuesday night pumping, at 8pm we cross to Europe for the Euphonic Session with one of their weekly guests Stoneface & Terminal, Marc Marberg, Kyau & Albert and Ronski Speed. Each plays an uplifting mix of euphoric trance music in a commercial free two hour mix set. Perfect for pushing back the furniture, turning up the stereo, turning off the lights and dancing your ass off!
GLOBAL DANCE SESSION (10pm-12am Tuesday)
Hailing all the way from Europe, the Global Dance Session consists of the most upfront dance selection available and features some of the biggest and most credible names in the dance scene. Past talent to guest feature on the show has included the likes of Bob Sinclar, TocaDisco, Morales, Krafty Cuts, Chris Lake, Mark Knight, Axwell, Mason and Above & Beyond to name just a tasty handful. GDS is hosted by Brian Cheetham who formally mixed and produced the Ministry of Sound international FM radios shows for 4 years taking the shows to their peak and winning awards across the world on the way.
EDDIE HALLIWELL PRESENTS FIRE IT UP! (12am - 1am Tuesday)
It has been a meteoric rise for Eddie Halliwell. Not only is his name screamed out on dance floors across the globe, he is also renowned as one of the major players in dance music having twice been voted DJ of the year by Clubber's Bible Mixmag. Eddie reached into millions of UK homes with his own BBC Radio One show from 2005-2008, during which time he was responsible for seven of the best ever Essential mixes. Fire It Up takes Eddie's sound global. An hour of constant energy from start to finish, the show features exclusive music and live content, competitions and interaction with Eddie's army of fans around the world.

WEDNESDAY EVENING
HUMP DAY SESSIONS with THEROBSTA (6-8pm Wednesday)
TheRobsta has been an institution in Christchurch house music for many years. As the in-house producer for the original Pulzar FM for several years, Rob was a vital member of the team that put together Christchurch's first dance music station. Now that he's got a real job, playing the best in house music is an experience he loves whenever he gets the chance. You will often see him DJing at various venues around Christchurch, always playing the best house music from classic to current.
DJ TKO (8-10pm Wednesday)
After working for many years in London's pirate radio scene, DJ TKO has immigrated to New Zealand, bringing crates of classic vinyl and top underground tunes to educate the Christchurch populace with. Expect to hear a varied mix of classic and contemporary tunes, with a touch of house, garage, underground old school rave anthems and his biggest favourites of the new millennium. And all delivered with that classic English accent that so many associate with the best in dance music.
CARL COX PRESENTS “GLOBAL” (10pm-12am Wednesday)
Now in its eighth year, Global is firmly established as the world's one stop destination for high quality, ground-breaking electronic music, presented by one of the world's most popular and respected DJs - Carl Cox. The weekly two hour show features studio mixes and live recordings from the best of Carl's worldwide club gigs including weekly highlights from his residency at Space Ibiza every summer ; as well as world class guests such as Fatboy Slim, Moby, Sven Vath and Laurent Garnier. Plus of course the absolute cream of the latest global house and techno music, personally selected and mixed every week by Carl.
THURSDAY EVENING
DANGEROUS KNOWLEDGE with HENDI and guests (6-8pm Thursday)
One of Christchurch's best known Dubstep DJ's, Hendi & his regular guests drop into the studio to warm up your Thursday with the best in global dubstep and whatever else takes their fancy, mixed as only they can.
RINSED RADIO SHOW (8-10pm Thursday)
Alternating weekly, The Rinsed Radio Crew drop the best and most energetic hardcore tunes on you on any given Thursday. Great sets from excellent local talent.
ARMIN VAN BUUREN PRESENTS “A STATE OF TRANCE” (10pm-12am Thursday)
The world's biggest DJ presents the world's biggest electronic music radio show: A State of Trance has become a cult institution - the essential listening experience for lovers of trance and progressive music all over the world. With an estimated ten million weekly listeners in 25 different countries, ASOT showcases the coolest and most groundbreaking sounds from the global trance scene. ADAM BEYER PRESENTS DRUM CODE (12am-1am Thursday nights)
Adam Beyer's music is synonymous with all that is exciting about electronic music today. Having emerged as the figure head of the hugely prolific Swedish techno scene Beyer has now confirmed his position as a globally recognized DJ and producer, headlining the world's finest events week-in-week-out. His acclaimed Drumcode label has been at the cutting edge of club music for well over a decade; now for the first time Adam takes to the airwaves with a new weekly radio show. Featuring exclusive live performances, cutting edge studio mixes, artist profiles and previews of exciting material on the Drumcode labels, this show is set to be a sure fire hit with electronic music fans worldwide.

Eastern Assault Sessions ft. DJ Alcatraz will be cranking out an energetic mix to get your weekend started right.
THE GORDO & CO. EVENING SHOW (8-10pm Friday)
Pulzar institution Gordo brings his unique brand of insanity to anchor our weekend party starter time slots with awesome tunes, irreverent humour, great guests and fun times galore!
NITESIDE SESSIONS (DnB) (10pm-midnight Friday)
Join SoulUnite and Sidetrak every Friday night for your weekly late night drum n bass fix. Two different styles merge together (non-stop and b2b) to bring you a wide spectrum of the finest drum n bass tunes known to man. Armed with a crate full of the classics and a wallet full of the freshest productions, be prepared for your Friday night to rise to the next level.
PAUL OAKENFOLD PRESENTS “PLANET PERFECTO” (midnight-2am Friday)
Since pioneering the genre in Ibiza back in 1987, Paul Oakenfold has remained one of the world's leading ambassadors of electronic music. His high profile work with the likes of Madonna, U2 and The Happy Mondays have made him a household name, but it's his legendary DJ sets to many millions of fans across the globe that have cemented his position as one of the most respected names on the scene. Planet Perfecto will be a fresh new weekly two hour show with an innovative style and image unlike anything heard before. It will take in every aspect of Paul Oakenfold's sound - from respected club DJ to Hollywood megastar. NOCTURNAL RADIO SHOW ft. MATT DAREY (midday-1pm Saturday)
Matt Darey is a trance and progressive house DJ that has a huge global reputation, and a string of massive hits. Every Saturday afternoon from midday Matt mixes up the best latest tunes of the week and profiles up & coming artists and tunes for your listening pleasure, in the well-respected Nocturnal Radio Show.
INTERCITY / PLAYMO RADIO (1pm-2am Saturday)
Alternating weekly European trance superstars Lange and Bart Claessen host an hour of the best beats from around the planet, supplied fresh to Pulzar FM.
HOT 30 COUNTDOWN with LEYLA (2-5pm Saturday)
Saturday afternoon we feature the Pulzar FM Hot 30 Countdown, with Leyla Hutchison counting down the 30 hottest new tunes as voted for by listener phone calls and votes on the Pulzar FM website. The Hot 30 is the longest running show on Pulzar FM and dates back to 2000!!
MISC (5-6pm Saturday)
MISC features DJ Adelle and Emma P hosting a chilled out mix of downbeat tunes, a perfect end to a great Saturday afternoon.
MAESTRO B (6-8pm Saturday)
As a DJ that's played around Christchurch for more years than he cares to admit too, Maestro B heads up the Audio Dreams party brand. He loves his house music, and every Thursday evening he mixes up a set of his current favourites to put a smile on your face and get your feet happy along.
BASS MENTALITY SESSIONS (10pm-12am Saturdays)
Taking Pulzar FM to the dark side for two hours on Saturday evenings, the Bass Mentality Sessions is the show where you can hear the latest in dubstep and drum & bass. It features high profile Christchurch DJ Discharged and his Bass Mentality Crew, pushing the energy levels to the maximum and dirtying up your radio with nasty, sweaty music. If you like it grimy, you'll love Bass Mentality Sessions!
NICKY ROMERO presents PROTOCOL (12am-1am Saturdays)
A new show to the Pulzar FM line up, Nicky Romero has earned Mad Props whenever he plays anywhere around the planet. Pulzar FM is stoked to be able to spin an exclusive hour long show from Nicky every Saturday night from midnight, direct from Europe.
SUNDAY
0199 presents the DJ.org.nz Mix Sessions (1-4am Sundays)
Keeping your Saturday night pumping, a great selection of DJ's from the dj.org.nz website bring you a huge mix of dubstep, drum step, drum and bass and filthy electro across three hours. Warning: these sets may (and to be fair probably will) contain content unsuitable for younger listeners. With thanks to the team at 0199.co.nz.
CHILL ZONE (6am-10am Sunday)
After a big weekend, you're not wanting things to get too intense, so we kick off with a laid back mix of chill out, dub, balearic grooves, funky house, jazz, deep house and down tempo cuts along with some cool new releases. Picture yourself sitting at a table at the famous Cafe del Mar or Cafe Mambo looking out over San Antonio Bay as the sun sets in Ibiza. That's the sort of feel we're going for on Sunday mornings until noon.
KU DE TA Sunset Radio Sessions with BTK (10am-12pm Sunday)
With the belief that ‘music creates space’ the KU DE TA Radio Sessions continually strive to bring another level of audio excellence to the modern music aficionado. With a view that the soundtrack at KU DE TA is as important as the venue itself and is part of the brand commitment to constantly evolve, challenge and surprise guests you can expect to immerse yourself in an eclectic, soulful soundtrack in a weekly two hour radio show. The KU DE TA Sunset Radio Show represents five continents of taste spanning a global music scene that melds the finer qualities of House, Downtempo, Lounge, Soul, Hip Hop, Funk and Jazz into a defining statement of musical style.
CLUB RETROSPECTIVE ft. DJK, TheRobsta and Guests (2-4pm Sunday)
Remember back to the 80’s and early 90’s with some of the era’s hottest club DJs, playing at all the top Christchurch venues of the time, Firehouse, the Palladium, Ménage and club Nuevo. Join DJK, Rob Munro and guests as they explore all the biggest club tunes from 1980 to 1995. This hugely respected show has people tuning into it from right around the world, get on board with what is fast becoming a global phenomenon!
SUNDAY SONIC TONIC ft. DJ Q (6-8pm Sunday)
Dave Quaid (DJ Q), spins two hours of the best house & techno you can hear anywhere in Christchurch. DJ Q hails from the UK and has spun throughout the UK, in Ibiza and in San Francisco, and it’s awesome to have his sweet beats on-air here in Canterbury.
SASSAFRAS SESSIONS (8-10pm Sunday)
Well known Christchurch DJ Sassafras lays down a smooth mix of the best in house, progressive, trance and whatever else takes his fancy every Sunday evening for two hours of music majesty.
JOHN DIGWEED PRESENTS TRANSITIONS - (10pm-12am Sunday)
Transitions is the groundbreaking electronic music show presented by John Digweed - a radio show so successful that it is now broadcast in thirty countries worldwide and has spawned four internationally best selling mix CDs. Featuring exclusive studio and live mixes from John Digweed plus guest mixes from the best electronic DJs and producers - Transitions has a reputation and history as one of the world's most popular specialist radio shows - now celebrating it's 6th year on air.
SOLARIS INTERNATIONAL (12am-2am Sunday)
For over a decade Solarstone have been creating dance-floor traffic jams with a convoy of revered club classics, all-out anthems & critically-acclaimed artist albums.
