Plus in many of our shows you'll have facts and trivia about our NZ tunes and artists, and we'll be getting artists live on the phone or in the studio for a good old chinwag about how they got where they are and what the future holds for them (plus loads of other stuff!). To celebrate the launch of the new station, this Saturday night we're throwing the doors open at Liquidity, getting a heap of Christchurch's best known DJ's on the decks, and pumping up the music just like we're doing on-air on 105.7fm. Featuring Sebastian Wild, Andy Pulzar, Crisis, Craig Shaw, therobsta, Maestro B and many more! Everything kicks off from 10.30pm on Saturday evening at Liquidity, 128 Oxford Terrace, going through to at least 4am (and possibly later if the party demands it!). With special thanks to Canadian Club and Red Bull, the Pulzar FM launch party will be a huge night! See you there! |

Well, what an amazing and crazy week we’ve had running Christchurch’s newest commercial radio station. It’s been absolute mayhem and at the same time is so exhilarating; it’s been an incredible experience. At 2pm last Saturday we went live on 105.7fm across Canterbury after almost an entire year of intense preparation. Our team, most of them volunteers, did a great job of quickly getting people on board and were full of enthusiasm that hasn’t been diminished one iota after a week on-air. |

We couldn't believe it, for about twenty minutes after launching the station at 2pm today, pulzarfm.co.nz was unavailable after the hosting server failed due to what appears to be excessive demand. Thankfully we were fairly quickly able to increase traffic capacity and get the site up and running again. Thanks for perservering with us. :) That's incredible and absolutely blew us away. Thanks for all the awesome comments and compliments. |
