THE MORNING GRIND – 6-10 Weekday Mornings
Will & Gordon host a fun morning mix of energetic “get up and go” music, lively chat, news and information. Breakfast is the anchor for any good commercial radio format, and this show is one to listen to. Regular guests join them in studio each week, including local MP’s, City Councillors and truck drivers. Occasionally previous Morning Grinders Josh & Niall call in from overseas as well. One of our most popular shows, the Morning Grind appeals to a wide audience.
LUNCH - 10-2 Weekdays
Join Zaac for lunch, playing the best music, your requests, loads of interesting info on what's happening around town, plus more.
DRIVE HOME with LYNDON – 2-6 Weekday Afternoons
Pulzar FM provide the best in afternoon entertainment, with Lyndon entertaining you through your afternoon every weekday, and running great features like “I Should Have Been...”, Head to Head, YouTube Clip of the Day and more awesome music.

MONDAY EVENING
MONDAY MAYHEM with NAT & REG (6-8pm Monday)
Nat and Reg play requests, loads of requests! And if they’re not playing requests, they’re playing their current favourites and some of the biggest anthems of all time. Pulzar FM’s highest rated early evening show (9.4% of all people over 10 listen to this show), this is great fun!
HALF WILD or THE Q CLUB (8-10pm Monday)
Half Wild has been created to showcase the highest quality music and DJ's across a broad spectrum of dance music, touring though New Zealand's & Australia's most unique club & festival venues, creating a distinctive vibe and attracting a diverse audience to each and every event. Recorded direct from Sebastian Wild's Auckland studio or live from the events, the Half Wild Podcast is a bi-weekly showcase of some of the world's finest dance music - both old and new - designed to parallel the music you can expect to hear on the tours. The first 90 minutes is a selection of tracks from Sebastian Wild, while in the final 30 - 40 minutes we feature an exclusive guest mix from a hand selected artist from Australasia or beyond. Every second Monday the Half Wild show touches down on the Pulzar FM airwaves from 8pm, tune in for your dose of the best in dance music.
Every other Monday, Dave Quaid (DJ Q), spins two hours of the best house & techno you can hear anywhere in Christchurch. DJ Q hails from the UK and has spun throughout the UK, in Ibiza and in San Francisco, and it’s awesome to have his sweet beats on-air here in New Zealand.
PAUL OAKENFOLD PRESENTS “PLANET PERFECTO” (10pm-12 Monday)
Since pioneering the genre in Ibiza back in 1987, Paul Oakenfold has remained one of the world's leading ambassadors of electronic music. His high profile work with the likes of Madonna, U2 and The Happy Mondays have made him a household name, but it's his legendary DJ sets to many millions of fans across the globe that have cemented his position as one of the most respected names on the scene. Planet Perfecto will be a fresh new weekly two hour show with an innovative style and image unlike anything heard before. It will take in every aspect of Paul Oakenfold's sound - from respected club DJ to Hollywood megastar. Expect huge club anthems, film soundtracks, hot material recorded from Paul's Planet Perfecto live shows plus debut appearances from fresh Perfecto signings.
MYNC presents CR2 Radio Show (12am-2am Monday night)
MYNC presents a weekly international mix show, with the latest tunes, info, interviews and loads of fun stuff. Lock it in for the best of Europe every Monday night from midnight.
TUESDAY EVENING
TUESDAY NIGHT with KYLE (6-8pm Tuesday)
Broadcasting school graduate Kyle Siebert entertains with a load of awesome music and fun commentary every Tuesday evening. Get your night started right!
INSIDE THE SPECTRUM with FEAR (8-10pm Tuesday)
Your Tuesday night mash up of the freshest Drum ‘N’ Bass & Dubstep from across the globe for your listening pleasure. Hosted by Fear, 8 till 10 PM every Tuesday!
GLOBAL DANCE SESSION (10pm-12am Tuesday)
Hailing all the way from Europe, the Global Dance Session consists of the most upfront dance selection available and features some of the biggest and most credible names in the dance scene. Past talent to guest feature on the show has included the likes of Bob Sinclar, TocaDisco, Morales, Krafty Cuts, Chris Lake, Mark Knight, Axwell, Mason and Above & Beyond to name just a tasty handful. GDS is hosted by Brian Cheetham who formally mixed and produced the Ministry of Sound international FM radios shows for 4 years taking the shows to their peak and winning awards across the world on the way.
EDDIE HALLIWELL PRESENTS “FIRE IT UP!” (12am – 1am Tuesday)
It has been a meteoric rise for Eddie Halliwell. Not only is his name screamed out on dance floors across the globe, he is also renowned as one of the major players in dance music having twice been voted DJ of the year by Clubber's Bible Mixmag. Eddie reached into millions of UK homes with his own BBC Radio One show from 2005-2008, during which time he was responsible for seven of the best ever Essential mixes. Fire It Up takes Eddie's sound global. An hour of constant energy from start to finish, the show features exclusive music and live content, competitions and interaction with Eddie's army of fans around the world.

WEDNESDAY EVENING
THE FIX-UP with Rubix & Guests (6-8pm Wednesday)
Rubix is a DJ and producer, spinning dub step, drum & bass and whatever else takes his fancy. The Fix-Up features an up front mix of dubstep, drum & bass, hip hop, and anything he considers bass heavy enough, plus regular in studio guests, giveaways, and interesting info, The Fix Up is essential listening for Christchurch’s bass culture.
DJ TKO (8-10pm Wednesday)
After working for many years in London's pirate radio scene, DJ TKO has immigrated to New Zealand, bringing crates of classic vinyl and top underground tunes to educate the Christchurch populace with. Expect to hear a varied mix of classic and contemporary tunes, with a touch of house, garage, underground old school rave anthems and his biggest favourites of the new millennium. And all delivered with that classic English accent that so many associate with the best in dance music.
THEROBSTA (10pm-11pm Wednesday)
TheRobsta has been an institution in Christchurch house music for many years. As the in-house producer for the original Pulzar FM for several years, Rob was a vital member of the team that put together Christchurch's first dance music station. Now that he's got a real job, playing the best in house music is an experience he loves whenever he gets the chance. You will often see him DJing at various venues around Christchurch, always playing the best house music from classic to current.
INTERCITY / PLAYMO RADIO (11pm-12am Wednesday)
Alternating weekly European trance superstars Lange and Bart Claessen host an hour of the best beats from around the planet, supplied fresh to Pulzar FM.
EUPHONIC SESSIONS (12-2am Wednesday)
Every Wednesday night we cross to Europe for the Euphonic Session with one of their weekly guests Stoneface & Terminal, Marc Marberg, Kyau & Albert and Ronski Speed. Each plays an uplifting mix of euphoric trance music in a commercial free two hour mix set.
THURSDAY EVENING
THE SOURCE (6-8pm Thursday)
The Source (with thanks to White Elephant) happens every Thursday evening from 6-8pm. Hosted by Zac, Tim and guests, it's a showcase of great local talent, young DJ's that are breaking through and loads of great music.
RINSED RADIO SHOW / DJ SCRAM (8-10pm Thursday)
Alternating weekly, The Rinsed Radio Crew drop the best and most energetic hardcore tunes on you or DJ Scram lays down a sweet mix of house and progressive beats, or whatever else takes his fancy on any given Thursday. Great sets from excellent local talent.
MAESTRO B (10-11pm Thursday)
As a DJ that's played around Christchurch for more years than he cares to admit too, Maestro B heads up the Audio Dreams party brand. He loves his house music, and every Thursday evening he mixes up a set of his current favourites to put a smile on your face and get your feet happy along.
SAMPLE GEE (11pm-12am Thursday)
Probably New Zealand's best known and most loved DJ, Sample Gee is responsible for so many firsts; he’s a legend in his own right. The founder of Lagered, New Zealand's highest selling DJ compilation series ever, Sample Gee can always pick the best tunes and mix them in style. Every Thursday he’ll be mixing up the best in uplifting house, progressive trance, and what he affectionately likes to call "trouse" (trancey house).
ADAM BEYER PRESENTS “DRUM CODE” (12am-1am Thursday nights)
Adam Beyer's music is synonymous with all that is exciting about electronic music today. Having emerged as the figure head of the hugely prolific Swedish techno scene Beyer has now confirmed his position as a globally recognized DJ and producer, headlining the world's finest events week-in-week-out. His acclaimed Drumcode label has been at the cutting edge of club music for well over a decade; now for the first time Adam takes to the airwaves with a new weekly radio show. Featuring exclusive live performances, cutting edge studio mixes, artist profiles and previews of exciting material on the Drumcode labels, this show is set to be a sure fire hit with electronic music fans worldwide.

FRIDAY LIGHTS with KAY-GEE (6-8pm Friday)
Kay-Gee entertains in studio every Friday evening, with a sweet mix of great music, loads of requests, fascinating and intriguing straw polls and random gossip. The right show to listen to at 6pm on a Friday to get your weekend right!
DANIEL MILLAR (8-10pm Friday)
The newest DJ on the Pulzar FM line up, Daniel mixes up a sweet mix on Friday evenings from 8pm, tune in and check him out.
JOSH AND FRIENDS (10pm-12am Friday)
Join Josh Armstrong and Friends as they lay down a mix of the best dirty electro, breaks and dubstep to set your house alight and get your ass movin', wherever it happens to be. Josh has honed the art of mixing during a year in Canada, and now he's back to bring the grind to the Christchurch massive.
NOCTURNAL RADIO SHOW ft. MATT DAREY (12mn-2am Saturday)
Matt Darey is a trance and progressive house DJ that has a huge global reputation, and a string of massive hits. Every Friday night from midnight Matt mixes up the best latest tunes of the week and profiles up & coming artists and tunes for your listening pleasure across two hours, in the well respected Nocturnal Radio Show.

Saturday afternoon we feature the Pulzar FM Hot 30 Countdown, with Leyla Hutchison counting down the 30 hottest new tunes as voted for by listener phone calls and votes on the Pulzar FM website. The Hot 30 is the longest running show on Pulzar FM and dates back to 2000!!
DUBSTEP CENTRAL HOUR with HENDI and guests (5-6pm Saturday)
One of Christchurch's best known Dubstep DJ's, Hendi & his regular guests drop into the studio to warm up your late afternoons with the best in global dubstep and whatever else takes their fancy, mixed as only they can.
DnB SESSIONS with Epinephrine (6-8pm Saturday)
Two hours of the latest and best drum & bass from around the planet. With all the info on what's happening around town, mixing the best in new and classic drum & bass live in the studio, interviews and in-studio guests, DnB Sessions will get your Saturday night started right!
BASS MENTALITY SESSIONS (10pm-12am Saturday)
Taking Pulzar FM to the dark side for two hours on Saturday evenings, the Bass Mentality Sessions is the show where you can hear the latest in dubstep and drum & bass. It features excellent Christchurch DJ & producer Discharged and his Bass Mentality Crew, pushing the energy levels to the maximum and dirtying up your radio with nasty, sweaty music. If you like it grimey, you'll love Bass Mentality Sessions!
ARMIN VAN BUUREN PRESENTS “A STATE OF TRANCE” (12am-2am Saturday nights)
The world's biggest DJ presents the world's biggest electronic music radio show: A State of Trance has become a cult institution - the essential listening experience for lovers of trance and progressive music all over the world. With an estimated ten million weekly listeners in 25 different countries, ASOT showcases the coolest and most groundbreaking sounds from the global trance scene. In the 9 years since its launch the show has won countless awards and has recently celebrated it's 450th episode with a series of landmark events around the world.
SUNDAY
CHILL ZONE (6am-10am Sunday)
After a big weekend, you’re not wanting things to get too intense, so we kick off with a laid back mix of chill out, dub, balearic grooves, funky house, jazz, deep house and down tempo cuts along with some cool new releases. Picture yourself sitting at a table at the famous Cafe del Mar or Cafe Mambo looking out over San Antonio Bay as the sun sets in Ibiza. That's the sort of feel we're going for on Sunday mornings until noon.
SUNDAY MORNING SOUL with Synapse/TKO (10am-12pm Sunday)
Alternating fortnightly are DJ TKO and Synapse, spinning a mix of chilled or downbeat grooves to warm up into Sunday just right. DJ TKO honed his craft on the pirate radio stations of London, while Christchurch native Synapse spent 7 years soaking up the music scene in Canada before returning to NZ in 2009. Synapse was part of the Pulzar FM family way back in 2000/2001 before heading overseas, so it's wonderful to have him back on deck providing a unique mix as only he can.
CARL COX PRESENTS “GLOBAL” (12-2pm Sunday)
Now in it's seventh year, Global is firmly established as the world's one stop destination for high quality, groundbreaking electronic music, presented by one of the world's most popular and respected DJs - Carl Cox. The weekly two hour show features studio mixes and live recordings from the best of Carl's worldwide club gigs including weekly highlights from his residency at Space Ibiza every summer ; as well as world class guests such as Fatboy Slim, Moby, Sven Vath and Laurent Garnier. Plus of course the absolute cream of the latest global house and techno music, personally selected and mixed every week by Carl.
CLUB RETROSPECTIVE ft. Mr EH? & Guests (2-4pm Sunday)
Remember back to the 80’s and early 90’s with two of the era’s hottest club DJs, playing at the top venues of the time, Firehouse, the Palladium, Ménage and club Nuevo. Join Greg Campbell and Rob Munro as they explore all the biggest club tunes from 1980 to 1995.
KIWI AS… (4-6pm Sunday)
We showcase the down home sounds of NZ music. From dub to house, pop to drum & bass, we journey through the country profiling what’s happening, interviewing key acts and playing great Kiwi tunes.
DJ NACOA (6-8pm Sunday)
Nathan Coates has been DJing around Christchurch for several years and holds residencies with many of Christchurch's finer establishments, playing his unique blend of nu jazz dub fusion mixed in with a good seasoning of funk and breaks. DJ Nacoa will be playing some of his favourites, keeping you up to date with gig's around town and providing something a little different to many of the others on the schedule.
SASSAFRAS SESSIONS (8-10pm Sunday)
Well known Christchurch DJ Sassafras lays down a smooth mix of the best in house, progressive, trance and whatever else takes his fancy every Sunday evening for two hours of music majesty.
JOHN DIGWEED PRESENTS “TRANSITIONS” (10pm-12am Sunday)
Transitions is the groundbreaking electronic music show presented by John Digweed - a radio show so successful that it is now broadcast in thirty countries worldwide and has spawned four internationally best selling mix CDs. Featuring exclusive studio and live mixes from John Digweed plus guest mixes from the best electronic DJs and producers - Transitions has a reputation and history as one of the world's most popular specialist radio shows - now celebrating it's 6th year on air.
SOLARIS INTERNATIONAL (12am-2am Sunday)
For over a decade Solarstone and Agnelli & Nelson have been creating dance-floor traffic jams with a convoy of revered club classics, all-out anthems & critically-acclaimed artist albums.
